This theatre was closed and demolished in the early 90’s, as was the Seneca Mall itself.

oh those cinemas remember them well. when the mall closed so did the cinemas but as the malls fate was still uncertain the cinemas opened back up as a $1.50 movie house showing older films which was nice. the mall was torn down in 1994 around that time im remembering from my memories. and the movies house was torn down 1 or 2 years later as they waited until they got buyouts ok’d from firestone and many of the property owners then they did all the small building together. I remember eating at ground round in the mid 90’s still was nice little theatre that lost its life to greedy corporate pyramid. now the site sits empty with trash everywhere because pyramid will not sell the land or if they do they want millions for a few acres. They do this to prevent competition with there mall a few miles away. wonder why the cinemas didnt work maybe because there mall has cinemas to go figure pyramid is a community killer they build one good thing while they leave hundreds empty and not taking care of.

This appeared in the Dipson listings in 1992 after General Cinema dropped it.
