The Beltline Drive-In opened on July 10, 1948 with Robert Page in “The Red Stallion”. It was operated by Jack Loek’s and had a capacity for 850-cars. In December 1965 a 1,000-seat indoor theatre was added (this eventually became the Jack Loek’s Studio 28 which has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The Beltline Drive-In became a 3-screen drive-In and was closed in 1988.
