The theater was destroyed by an August 14, 2013 fire. :(

This is a run-of-the-mill 1980’s vintage theater if I recall correctly.

Several broken and missing sections of neon on the theater’s sign.

Boy, all those restrictions sound like right here in Olympia, Washington. We must have gotten our city council from you guys.

Yeh what’s the deal with the field layout? Looks like a twin to me.

The font used for “Skyline” sure reminds me of the 1960’s. ;)

The theater is in the middle of a 4 million dollar facelift and remodeling. It will also get a marquee for the first time in it’s life. I will get pictures when the project is done in a few months.

That article fails to mention Kodak has signed a contract with ALL the major studios to continue providing them with billions of feet of 35mm film over the next several years. The studios still must provide 35mm film prints to foreign countries!

Seems the theater has been replaced with a gas station now.

Chuck1231: Not a lot happening theater-wise in the Pacific Northwest. I hadn’t commented much because there wasn’t much for me too comment about. However, I see a few people have started to add theaters I know things about so now I’ve got something comment on. ;) I’ve seen some of the pictures of closed Oklahoma drive-in theaters and I’ve been able to comment on the projection and sound equipment in some of those theaters. Thank goodness some of those brave souls who venture onto the property of closed drive-ins to get pictures.

Regal Cinemas has definitely been operating this theater for at least ten years. There are two entrances to the theater property. The main entrance is from Mile Hill Drive. The other entrance is off a side street and past a Taco Bell restaurant.

This theater has been updated over the years with new seats, new screens, and video projection. This is a leased building.
