There was a Sparta,Mo. Drive in in this state that held 75 cars,The Alvin Drive-in.owned by Taft Amusements.

In 1956 it was the HUNTERDON drive-in parking 300 cars and owned by Brant Theatres.

Carmike has never impressed me as a theatre chain,what few theatres i have seen that they run are dumps and mainly in smaller towns.

redjayd if any one knows about TAMPA theatres it is Nick.He did a book on THE Ritz that would drive you crazy if you like old theatres during the 60’s.

Consolidated was a big chain in the Carolinas,don’t recall any in Georgia.Two pretty good flicks to open with.
