This is the only movie ad I could find from the Booker Park Drive-In. I guess it was a “colored” theatre only. I checked the address and could not find any remains in a 1962 aerial. It must not have been open very long.
I just uploaded new pictures and an overview for the Fort Myers/ Northside Drive-In. I do believe that Fort Myers and City Drive-Ins where operated by the same people for a while before the City Drive-In closed in 1970. I have a picture of a movie bill with both theatres on it.
I stopped and looked at last summer. The drive-in is still standing but in bad condition. The concession stand/project booth was set on fire and destroyed. The screen tower looks decent yet. It could reopened with some work and $$$$$ !!

I think this is it. It is on TWP 36 across from the cemetery. Looks like it was a pretty good size. 400 car maybe.

I believe it is the Wheeler Drive-In..
I have Wheeler Drive-In listed in 1965 located in Elgin, AL.

Here is what I have:
Open in 1955 K&K and Temple Drive-Ins.
Open In 1963-1970 Meridian Drive-In. The only one listed in the town.
My thinking is that the K&K or Temple got renamed to the Meridian.
That is all I got.
In my listings the K & K Drive-In and the Temple Drive-In were separate theatres.

This drive-in was reconfigured after 1959 because of the rerouting of HWY 7. Look at it in 1969.
