History:
This opened as the Morton Opera House in December 1900 and renamed Garrick in 1912. On July 12th, 1928 the Garrick theatre burns down. It was rebuilt and reopened on February 28th, 1930 as the Capitol theatre, which closed on November 20th, 1974. It was at the NE Corner of Union & Cardwell.
