Well, not to get picky but the property itself is mostly empty with just a couple of self-storage buildings on the west side.

In fact, you can still see the faint outline of the ramps. http://tinyurl.com/qzn3j6z

Well, I don’t know about getting “mixed up”.

Based on the comments by dallasmovietheaters and the 1950 aerial photo of the town, it’s clear that a drive-in was located at 18657 U.S. 71 at that time. That drive-in disappears in later aerial photos and a business is in its place.

The second drive-in shows up east of town afterwards at roughly 2500 US 30.

So, perhaps for true clarity sake I suppose there could be two separate entries. However, if the first one only existed for a few years and was essentially relocated, I would not object to just keeping this to one page.

The original drive-in was located at 18657 U.S. 71. Currently, a business is on the property with no traces of the old drive-in remaining. http://tinyurl.com/py7lvdf

After searching the topo maps and aerial photos of the location in question, there is ample evidence that the address 291 N. Old St. Louis Road is the correct one at least according to Google Maps.

There is no evidence that another drive-in existed at or around 257 S. Old St. Louis Road. So, for the sake of accuracy in terms of location on Google Maps, the 291 address is better. However, if the address was what the original drive-in used in its advertising, then going with the other makes some sense.

Approximate address is 4228 Old Highway 77, Brownsville, TX. The drive-in was located on the west side of the old highway with the screen facing NE and sitting next to the road and the waterway.

Today, there is a housing edition and apartments on the property with no trace left of the drive-in.

First, the address 129 VT-4A, Castleton, VT will more accurately map the location of the drive-in. You can still barely make out some of the ramps. https://goo.gl/maps/m3H9e

Second, there’s something not right or complete about the information to when the theater operated. According to a 2003 aerial overhead photograph, the drive-in already gone by that point in time having last been present in a 1994 aerial photo.

Based on that, either the drive-in was moved to another location or it did not last into the 21st century.

The address is 1536 Crowley Rayne Hwy, Crowley, LA 70526. The drive-in appears to be intact in a 1971 aerial photo, but at some point afterwards was demolished.

Today, there is no trace of the drive-in left. https://goo.gl/maps/J4fZY

Kenmore commented about Citrus Drive-In on May 1, 2015 at 12:40 pm

If the dates are correct, then the Citrus Drive-In is currently being mislabeled as the “Juarez Drive-In” on this site. The drive-in located at 2430 U.S. 77 Business was established at least by 1953. It has been demolished, although the projection booth/concession stand appears to still be standing. https://goo.gl/maps/FsrYa
