Societies of Australia, a photo and framing store(Art Thai Studio photos & framing), a fashion store(Diamond Head Fashions), a furniture store(Albatat Furniture), and a variety store(Lueth Variety Store).
The seats and snack bar(and ticket office?) have been removed. There is also a hole in the Cinemascope screen(exposing the speaker stand), the frame of the screen and the curtains are still there too. The projection room(and projection portholes) and the gentlemens toilet(and ladies toilet?) are still there too.
Demolished in 1987. There is now a plaque on the footpath on the street corner where the Premier theatre and Gardens used to be(installed in september 2019?).
This building was originally a drill hall(early 1920’s?).
