Timeline for the Strand/Pigalle theater from Montreal Movie Theatre History site:

Opened on Dec. 7 1912
1968 renamed the Pigalle and with the Midi-Minuit became the first porno theatres in Canada.
1973 Demolished by Famous Players to make way for an office complex called Centre Capitol.
