Opened in June 1924, the Concrete Theatre has been and will be again a entertainment central point for the entire community. The movie "This Boy's Life", staring Robert DeNiro and Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed in Concrete.

We will be showing first and second run films, with a steady flow of classic films. The local schools will be presenting some live performances and the bands in the area are excited about playing here as well. We are most excited to give the local youth the opportunity to experience the diversity of performing arts and to reopen the historical Concrete Theatre.

I had posted some history about the theater in the original listing of this theater, but it is gone. Is there anyway to get that back?

Katie is right, this theater was listed on here before. I remember finding a photo of the Concrete Theater and thinking it would be funny if the building was really made of wood. I guess that the site "ate" the other theater when it was having problems.

In the description above it mentions a movie called "This Boy's Life" filmed in Concrete, Wa. This website has photos from that movie which include this theater.

The blackjack movie "21" was shown in May, so status should be open.
