The historic Lincoln Theatre in Port Angeles, Washington almost closed in May 2001, but at the last minute a deal was worked out between Sun Basin Theaters and the owner of the building. For now, the 163-seat triplex remains open.

The Lincoln Theatre of Port Angeles, Washington did NOT close in May 2001. It came within four days of closing, but it was then granted a lease reprieve. After 3 months of "negotiations", Sun Basin Cinemas purchased the building housing Lincoln Theatre. I guarantee you that it is still in operation!

The address for the Lincoln Theatre is 132 East First Street, seating capacity is 163.

The original seating capacity for the Lincoln Theatre was 950.
