The historic Lincoln Theatre in Port Angeles, Washington was opened prior to 1926. In the 1941 and 1943 editions of Film Day Yearbook it was listed as (Closed). It had reopened by 1950.

It was almost closed in May 2001, but at the last minute a deal was worked out between Sun Basin Theaters and the owner of the building. For now, the 163-seat triplex remains open.

The Lincoln Theatre of Port Angeles, Washington did NOT close in May 2001. It came within four days of closing, but it was then granted a lease reprieve. After 3 months of “negotiations”, Sun Basin Cinemas purchased the building housing Lincoln Theatre. I guarantee you that it is still in operation!
