It sat vacant until it was sold on November 24, 1986, but it stood idle until restoration began in 1992. On February 7, 1995 it reopened as the Community Theatre Museum. The community is currently undergoing a massive, inside/outside renovation – and might open up this fall (2013) – as headquarters for the Pine Bluff Film Festival as well as for live concerts and shows.
This wont be opening until 2014. I stopped by in Sept 2013 and it was still a shell.
As 0f the 2019 Google Street View, looks operational.
Status should be closed. Website has not been updated for 8 years. Phone listing goes to full voice mail. No Facebook activity either.
When I saw this in 2020, the marquee said ‘New Owners - Call (870) 568-6382’.
