The Isis Theater opened in 1913. The theater was originally owned by the McCarthy Brothers who sold the the Isis the following year. On November 19, 1955 the Isis theater was destroyed in a fire.

Trivia: The movie that was playing at the Isis theater the day of the fire was “Strange Lady in Town” with Greer Garson and Dana Andrews. It was the last movie that played there.
