The Strand theater opened in March of 1915. The Strand was owned by Christ Wilhelmson. The opening day movie was “The Escape” starring Donald Crisp. Prices were 10cents and 15 cents in the afternoon and 25 cents in the evening. The Strand theater burned down in 1923.
