This was the first theatre that the B & B theatres was to own. Elmer Bills purchased the Lyric in 1924 and today operates more than 130 screens throughout the midwest. It is the 33rd largest chain in the US including the single screen Lyric Theatre.
The front of the theatre has been updated over the years and the theatre now has the best in sound and projection.
