THIS SHOULD BE LISTED AS CLOSED.

I just checked with Google (no listing) and Loopnet (for sale, pending sale).

Drove past and stopped to look in the gate on May 24 2015. The Midtown is closed, but all the buildings are standing, appear in good condition, the paint looks crisp, even the grass is mowed. Just no one around. Nothing on the marquee.

This appears to be in nice condition!! Judging by this, what appears to be, a 2016 video! Even the snack bar has a glass encasement with displays of die cast cars, etc. still there.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXhShVjB-x8

Probably could afford to switch to digital.

Someone is definitely looking after this site, the grass was mowed in the most recent Google Earth image. There does appear to be some damage to the screen but overall it still looks in good shape.

I remember going to this place a lot back in the mid to late 1990’s when I just happened to get a rare Friday or Saturday night off. Saw many movies here. Having the sound in stereo over FM was great too. I used to take both my generic Walkman and a radio headset so I didn’t have to worry about running my car battery down. Still miss it.

The drive-in is no longer there. A storage facility has been built on the property. Check out the photo section.
