The building currently on this site has the name Forrester Building enscribed in stone on the top of the building. It was built in 1907. The vertical blade sign has the name ‘Bond’ which I believe was a store. Current use for the building (at street level) is the Pavo Real Jewelry Plaza.
The Palace of Pictures opened in 1914, in former retail space. There is no listing for a movie theatre of that name in Film Daily Yearbooks after 1941.
