This theater is almost 90 years old. It is located in Coamo, Puerto Rico’s third oldest town. The Hollywood has been closed for several years now, and it has become some what of an eyesore on Baldorioty De Castro street (Coamo’s main street). The municipal government just anounced a $400,000 restoration project, which will hopefully return this theater to it’s former beauty.

It is now in service, it has the best projection and sound of all cinemas in Puerto Rico, a true jewel.
