El Emperador 1 & 2

One of the first twin theatres built in Ponce, Puerto Rico’s third-largest city. They played first run movies and were very popular until bigger multiplexes became more attractive to moviegoers. This was a family owned theatre that sadly closed down in 2000 and became a restaurant. It had been demolished by 2022.
