The Star Theatre was located on E. Franklin Street near Alvarado Street. It was open roughly from 1915-1923 or so. Other than some advertising cards on Monterey streetcars of the day, nothing is known about the Star Theatre including its exact address. Newspaper accounts only say it was located on Franklin near Alvarado.
