Although a majority of the commercial buildings, some dating back to early-1900’s, still remain in the scenic little community. The Dundee Theatre was opened by 1941. It was closed for many years. It was reopened around 1969, but was destroyed by fire in February 1972. The theatre is long gone with a library residing on the site where the Dundee Theatre once stood.
