The columbia was one of the old neighborhood houses demolished during the 1970’s. It was demolished to make way for a boulevard (Martin Luther King) from SW Baltimore to the Howard Street Corridor.

The site is now a ramp onto I-95 to Washington D.C.

A Moller organ Opus 3181 Size 2/10 was installed in the Columbia Theater in 1921 at a cost of $6250.00.
