The Gem Theater is located in the downtown section of Beaverton. A single screen seating 302. It has been in continuous operation since the 1940’s.

This is a recent photo of the Gem Theater.
I lived in Beaverton 1979-1985 .. This neat little Mom ‘n Pop theater was showing Major New releases for $1.00 !!! – People were driving in from Midland, Gladwin, Harrison to see ONE DOLLAR films … the old
man made some of it back with candy & pop prices … but so what?
