When this theatre closed in 1986, it had the largest screen left in Western Canada. You would enter from the street entrance, and then go down two flights of stairs to the box-office level. From there, you would go down another flight of stairs to the lobby, which was quite spacious.
One interesting thing (which may or may not be true), is that it originally had 666 seats, but one was taken out to change the number (I do remember the missing seat in one of the rows). Many memories at this theatre, and I do still miss it, although you can still see how it used to be by going to the dinner theatre that uses it now.

Yeh,this is the one I mentioned in my other Regina posting.It was a nice place,especially when it was 20 below zero.When I lived there,Canada had not gone metric,thank heaven.When you went there you could get your car out of the weather and descend to eternal spring.
