This photo of the Capitol Theater has a date given as 1956. The theater is closed and for sale.

That address sounds reasonable Chuck. The Capitol/Princess was located on Main St between Duff and Douglas Avenue. 117 Main Street does map between those two avenues.

LM I found an address of 117 Main Street on the Capitol. The last seating capacity listing was 568. It was owned and operated by a W.N. Matlack in 1920 when it was renamed the Capitol, B.G. Gerbracht Circuit in 1925 and in the end it was operated by Central States Theatres until it closed in the mid 50’s. I think that Central States took over in the mid 30’s.
