The Magic Theatre was opened in 1941. It was built for Charles Reed Mitchell.
Charles Reed Mitchell of the Mitchell theater family began working as a projectionist at the Mitchell Theatre in Barbourville at the age of nine. He later became chief projectionist.
The Magic Theatre was still operating in 1950, but is now closed.

This is a recent photo of the Magic Theater building and here is a close-up view.
From the info on the photos, it looks like Gary Campbell Insurance operates in the building, which has an address of 110 Court Square.
Here is a 2008 photo. Function could be office space.
