I recall that the Sarratt was named after one Madison Sarratt. My wife and I used to go there occasionally when she worked at Vanderbilt. I finally got to see Citizen Cane or Kane there

You know that is an interesting statement about Drive-ins,Any special reason?

I do not know I did not post this theatre,some people get uptight if you know what I mean,I do not think drive-ins are real Cinema Treasures but there sure a lot of them on this site,to each his or her own I quess.

If that is the case then i could add the Tate Center at UGA in Athens,but I don’t consider it a movie theatre even though they show movies DVD i am sure.Can’t add the Tate Center.

It is worth a footnote here that it really is named the Sarratt Cinema. Not to be confused with the similarly named Scaritt College, absorbed by Vanderbilt some decades ago.

Between the Yahoo and Google search engines, I have found three addresses for this theater so far. Another address given is 2300 Vanderbilt Place. An interior photo is on the website link I posted above or you can click here to see it.

Here are 2006 photos of the theatre. The 208 Sarratt Student Center is the official address of the theatre.

I can’t get the related website link above to work. I found this link that lists the movies playing here. I also found a different address: 301 24th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37212.
