Located in the Sarratt Student Centre of Vanderbilt University, the Sarratt Cinema has both the look and feel of a Scandinavian commercial cinema. Although it is equipped with a 10.5 x 27' screen only about half of it is ever visible since a majority of films presented there are in either DVD or VHS format.
The Sarratt Cinema was opened in 1974.

Between the Yahoo and Google search engines, I have found three addresses for this theater so far. Another address given is 2300 Vanderbilt Place. An interior photo is on the website link I posted above or you can click here to see it.
It is worth a footnote here that it really is named the Sarratt Cinema. Not to be confused with the similarly named Scaritt College, absorbed by Vanderbilt some decades ago.
Thanks Will.
Here is another one that i don’t know is a real movie theatre.Maybe it is to some CT members.
If that is the case then i could add the Tate Center at UGA in Athens, but I don’t consider it a movie theatre even though they show movies DVD i am sure. Can’t add the Tate Center.
I do not know I did not post this theatre, some people get uptight if you know what I mean,I do not think drive-ins are real Cinema Treasures but there sure a lot of them on this site,to each his or her own I quess.
You know that is an interesting statement about Drive-ins,Any special reason?
No MIke,no special reason.I will e-mail you my responce about your question.
I recall that the Sarratt was named after one Madison Sarratt. My wife and I used to go there occasionally when she worked at Vanderbilt. I finally got to see Citizen Cane or Kane there
