Forgot to mention that the style is atmospheric.Cambuslang appears to be a suburb of Glasgow.

Cambuslang is about 7 miles southeast of Glasgow City Centre.

The Ritz Cinema opened on 12th May 1930 and was a project of John Maxwell’s ABC cinemas. It closed on 2nd July 1960 and was demolished in 1962. Shops and offices were built on the site.

Anyone recognize this theater? Don’t be surprised if it’s listed here somewhere and I can’t find it. Kind of sad, given my last name.

ken mc; Thanks for posting a link to the above pic. That building is currently not listed on Cinema Treasures (I will add it). It is of the Ritz Cinema, Rodney Street, Canonmills, Edinburgh, Lothian, Scotland, United Kingdom. Opened 9th September 1929. Designed by ABC architects’s Albert V. Gardner and William R.Glen with a seating capacity of 1,925. It closed on 28th November 1981 and was demolished.
