The Byrd theater at 4720 Baltimore Avenue was built in 1928. The architect was Isadore W. Levin. aka name for this theater was Bronson Theater. Info was obtained from the Philadelphia Architects and Buildings site.

Need to correct the address in the header, the correct address 4720
Baltimore Ave., was given by LM on 6/20/06. Also the header should read Closed/Demolished

A modern retro-classic building extends around this part of the block. The theatre was razed long ago.
Need to update the header with AKA Bronson Theatre and the address needs to be corrected to 4720 Baltimore Ave.
