The Nickelodeon was screening movies by 1895. It was one of the many early silent era movie houses that existed in this city. R. Sheedy was the operator in March 1908. It was still open in 1927.

A man on horseback and dressed like a cowboy would ride through the city’s main streets promoting the films playing at the various nickel theatres of the city during the early silent era.

The list of Fall River movie theaters in the 1927 Film Daily Yearbook includes a “Nichelodian” with 390 seats, open daily. I assume that it’s this theater. There are no street addresses in the listings.
