Station Theater and Event Center

Viewing: Photo | Street View

Not much information available on this theatre to date but this appears to be the earliest theatre on record that was both a cinema and eatery. What is known so far is that it opened in October 1947, and was owned by Silas Coleman and Red Berry. The theatre closed in 1958 and has since been used as a furniture retail store. It September 2015 it was being restored to become the Station Theater and Event Center.

Here are photos of the former theatre from January 2007: 1, 2, 3. The current owner of the property states that the theatre opened in 1910 and that the frame building on the side of the theatre building was the grill.
