The Cinema 1 & 2, with its very basic 70s design, looks like a latter day Martin Theatre. The cinema was a Carmike holding up until a few years ago when it became an independently owned operation.

Is this theater still open? I found a website which is here, that has a message reading “MIKE AND SHANNON BENTLEY NO LONGER OPERATE THE BUSINESS KNOWN AS CINEMA 1 & 2”.

YES, this theatre IS still open. No, it is no longer owned by Mike and Shannon Bentley. It shows new releases and the new phone is 423-473-7344(recording) and 423-473-7370(direct).

your shoes come off the floor is so sticky the bathrooms smell like urine. The movie cuts off every second.
