Yes, I am the same Bruce Copio that worked for General Cinema/AMC from 1981 to 2003. I have been here at Mahoning since 2003.

Small world. My best friend was the manager who opened the place. I cleaned the screens there a few times when I had my business. Hope all is well. I was a projectionist at many GCC sites including Menlo Park, Woodbridge, Blue Star, Brunswick and Bridgewater from 1977 till the early 2000’s. I lasted full time until May 2013 when digital finally got me. Im a stagehand now mostly at the Prudential Center in Newark NJ.

A lot of memories over the years. I was at Blue Star, Hudson Plaza, Morris County Mall, Seaview Square, Somerville Circle, Bridgewater, and Lehigh Valley over a 22 year period.

Opened on different screens with “Sabrina”, Father of the bride 2, “Ace Ventura 2 when nature calls”, “Jumanji”, “Babe” and “Mortal kombat”.

I am long time friend of the first manager who opened this place back in 1995.

jeffpiatt on April 27, 2020 at 2:25 pm They decided to close forever. The only chance that this theater has to reopen is if a smaller chain like New Vision Theaters acquires the location or AMC takes over and makes it a Classic location.
