Showcase Theatre

Opened in 1914 as the Coleman Theatre. It later became the Colonial Theatre, followed by Abby Theater. The Showcase Theatre opened August 24, 1968 with Steve McQueen in “The Thomas Crown Affair”. It was closed in 1981. The theatre is now office space.

On March 24 1970 it had a ROADSHOW ENGAGEMENT of “FUNNY GIRL” running on its second week.

August 24th, 1968 grand opening ad in the photo section. It was renamed Abby in 1963.
