On the Bowlegs Theatre site the faded photo of the olio curtain shows advertisements for two theaters in Seminole, OK, the State and Liberty. Judging from this, one can only assume that there once was a State Theater in that town. You’re invited to share any news you may have on this subject.

As mentioned on another page by Miss Toast, religeious movie showing was a cheapie from gimmick producer Kroger Babb. Babb usually pitched sexploitation pictures that usually didn’t live up to the promised hype of titilation.
Now days Sharpes Clothing occupies the old State Theatre space at 238 N. Main St.
