Ritz Theatre  Seminole, OK...

Located just a few doors along from the State Theatre at the corner of N. Main Street and E. Oak Avenue. The Ritz Theatre was opened on November 26, 1926 when it was listed with 700 seats. By 1931 it was listed with 550 seats, but it was closed in March 1931.

It has been demolished and the site has been taken up by the road widening of E. Oak Avenue.

The Ritz theatre launched November 26, 1926. An anti-trust lawsuit in 1931 leads to a dispersal and the Ritz ends its cinematic run in March of 1931. It becomes a church later that year and later a restaurant.
