I’m interested in info on the Cameo Theatre. Does anyone have info or pictures to share on it.
Listed as ‘Closed’ in the 1941 and 1943 editions of Film Daily Yearbook. It had re-opened by the time the 1950 edition of F.D.Y. was published.
I photographed this theatre today. The back door to the former auditorium was unlocked and open about an inch, but due to the snow and ice in front of it I was not able to get it open any more. When the ice melts I would love to get in there and see what it is like inside.
A Wurlitzer theater organ opus 744 style 135A was installed in the Cameo Theater on 11/28/1923.
