The Griffith Theater is mentioned in a Courier-Journal article. “And people would go see movies for 15 cents on Main Street at the Griffith Theater, which has since burned down”. It doesn’t specify east or west Main St.
The Theatre was located on W. Main St. at S. 1st. Ave. Next door to the Bank
