The Teatro Las Palmas was an excellent example of the Art Moderne style and this cinema was designed by architect Gustavo Gutierrez. All seating was on one floor.

It opened on 4th November 1952 with Richard Todd starring in Walt Disney’s “The Adventures of Robin Hood and his Merry Men”.

Located on the Avenida Principal de Las Palmas, Las Palmas, north east of central Caracas, the Teatro Las Palmas closed in 1970 and has since been demolished.

Teatro Las Palmas Architect incorrect. Where did you get the information. Blue print signed by who? In Venezuela is necessary a professional number CIV collegation. I must check and find the real designer. Sincerely yours Antonio Fuenmayor Mayorca Arch UCV´74 MRP Cornell ´81 Retired professor UCV
