The Star Theatre opened in 1946 and has been running continuously ever since.
Still coal heated, it changed owners in early-2002 and a full renovation was undertaken, including a conversion to gas heat. The Star Theatre is located in the coal mining town of Huntington, Utah. It was closed in April 2009.
