Alamo South Lamar

You may have been to a "restaurant movie theater" before, but unless you’ve visited one of the Alamo Drafthouses, you simply haven’t lived. Unlike the original Alamo (which has since been moved over to a new venue called the Ritz), the South Lamar location shows mainly first-run movies — which means you can watch the latest blockbusters and arthouse releases while you kick back with beers, salad, cheeseburgers, milk shakes, or whatever else the massive menu has to offer.

The staff is great, there’s real movie-love in the air, and they host the awesome Fantastic Fest every September. Plus they don’t simply stand for people who TALK during the movie, god bless ‘em.
