This building started life as the Tacoma Odd Fellows lodge in 1925. The lodge was converted into a movie theater in 1995.

It operated as a 3-screen cinema, and a fourth screen was added in 2009.

Here is a brief Jan 13, 2009 article about the Grand Cinema. We missed the free cake and cookies. :(
