Was this also known as the Rex Theater? It’s listed as the Rex with an aka name of Rapid on Cinematour. They might have the names reversed. Rapid would be the later name. The Rex had 767 seats.

A book about Rapid City architecture says that the Rex Theatre was built in 1928.
