Wallace Sloan, local Graham druggist, bought the building formerly occupied by the Rex Theatre and put in a first class picture show in 1924 during Graham’s oil boom years. The front of the building was torn out and a modern front was put in. The new theatre was named the Mission Theatre. Unfortunately, the movie theatre only last a couple of years and closed in 1926.
