Cine Charles Chaplin is another movie theater located in the Vedado district of Havana. It is located on Calle 23 between 10 and 12 streets.
Originally opened as the Cine Atlantic, it was re-named Cine Charles Chaplin on 20th July 1983. It screens vintage Cuban and apparently incomprehensible Russian films.
It also contains the Cinemateca de Cuba (aka Centro Cultural Cinematografico ICAIC), two screening rooms specialising in video presentations of cult movies.
The Cine Charles Chaplin underwent a major renovation in 2004 and it is a leading venue for International film festivals.

This theater was located on 23 Street between 10 and 12 in Vedado, it is erroneously positioned in the street map on Lombillo street in El Cerro. It was modern, admission in 1958 was $1. I remember seeing “The Third Sex” there with Christian Wolff and Paula Wesseley.
