The Picture House, in Sunderland Road, Horden, has been on bingo for many years. It is now known as the Carlton Bingo Club.

This is situated on the corner of Sunderland Road and Shotton Road. It was operated throughout its cinema life by Yoden Theatres Ltd. It appears to shown films from 1934 to 1964 judging by entries in the Kine Year Books, though these dates are not to be relied upon!

The roofline in the second photo suggests that there might have been a stage here, without a flytower.
