The Cinema Muenchen was opened on 23rd October 1954 with “Hell and High Water” starring Richard Widmark. Seating was provided for 580. This theater shows mostly first run American films. Seating in the auditorium is located in stalls and balcony and it is THX certified.

This has been a favorite of many of the local film lovers as well as expats in Munich, as Cinema has been showing films in “Originalfassung”, so undubbed and subtitled, in a very comfy auditorium. They also often do double bills in weekends.
