The Great Wall Theatre was the first theatre to be built in the Tuen Mun area in the New Territories.
The theatre was reportedly opened to business in 1962,and showed selected films until its closure at an unknown date in the late-1970’s or early-1980’s.
The theatre building was a single storey one, with the 543-seat auditorium on the ground floor. It was demolished for the reclamation of the Castle Peak Bay for the development of the Tuen Mun New Town.
